Curb Appeal Asphalt Services

Requested and received an estimate three months ago (April) and then no communication from this company as far as scheduling the job. Their email said I'd be contacted when they began their season. I left phone messages on both listed phones and sent a couple of emails asking how we can move forward (it's now July). No response. Their website cited an AZ address in addition to Bedford NH. I drove to the Bedford address which I discovered was non-existent. I decided to leave one more voicemail and lo and behold I got a call from "Ashley". I was told that the company has had labor issues and insufficient labor. I told her I'll be seeking another company for the job and that a call or email to apprise me of the company's inability to perform the work would have been appreciated. Bad business.

They were paving a neighbors driveway when I went out and asked them to do mine. I had to go off to work and then I returned home to find they did half a job. They pave my driveway with bottom coat and never put topcoat on the driveway and they painted over my water main shut off valve. To fix this mess will cost me more money. It's very sad when people take advantage of others and don't have pride in their work. Trust them at your own risk.

Hired Curb Appeal to seal our driveway and also had 6 other neighbors join in so we could get a group discount. Communication was awful from day 1. 3 weeks later, we finally get a date, but after many phone calls and emails. Invoices were not sent out, so we did not know who to pay. Then she threatened to remove discount and bill us all 25.00. (She never emailed invoices). One of our neighbors driveway was not done and yet they failed to communicate why and gave excuses. Had the owners wife out to look at our driveway when I had questions about cracking in my driveway not being sealed and she was rude and a sorry excuse for a business owner (he should not let her deal with frustrated customers). Also they brought their 4 year old to the job site (unprofessional and a liability) who was digging holes in my neighbors yard while his father worked. When asked not to by my neighbor was told, "he's fine, we will cover them before we go." Additionally when I removed all the protective tape noticed tons of black splash up on my siding and white garage door. Overall the driveway looks good, but was an incredibly frustrating process. If you don't want drama, go with someone else. I would have rather paid more for a company who responded within a reasonable amount of time, and tried to make it right with the customer instead of giving me a laundry list of excuses and personal reasons. I really don't care what personal stuff your going through Ashley. Remember that's how small businesses stay successful!
