To do so we take a whole body approach to treating health issues by combining chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, and nutrition counseling into our patient care. Our doctors are well trained in multiple adjusting techniques and will find the best way to assist you with your care needs. Our private rooms, relaxing atmosphere, and competent staff create an environment conducive to healing. Our Nutrition Store ensures you have access to only the best nutritional products, and our Board Certified doctor (American Clinical Board of Nutrition) can address any nutritional issue you may have. Children are welcome at the clinic and we have certain services geared especially for assisting children with postural, chiropractic, and neurosensory issues.

I've been coming here since 2021 and I love the Dr's here and all of the staff.
They have a good selection of vitamins, teas, other well being supplements
They also have 2 massage therapists

Massage with Mary at 11am. THIS time I showed up at 11am. Let's see how long I wait???
Saw me within minutes. Mary, gave me a deep tissue massage which was lovely. She has a fun personality.

So friendly and patient each and every time I've visited, which is needed in that kind of position.
The PT asst, Mariah is also very friendly, positive, and caring while probing and proding my body!!!

Short staffed today; took over an hour (80 minutes to be exact) for routine adjustment, but they get 5 stars for the "extra" attention I got when they realized it.

It's been 2 months since I've been in. Ive been on gabapentin since last visit and that's made all the difference with my chronic pain
I saw Dr Brechtel (owner) today and she was telling me the other location (by the brewery off Stewart Rd) is closed; she's turning it into an Airbnb.
Referred Berta C here for therapy, saw her there today when I left; I refer everyone here.
My last referral this summer was Lisa C.

Haven't been to this location since first of year. This location is near the brewery off Stewart Rd and has been "for sale" for a minute.
Dr Chretien is gone, Dr Delgado is here now; love her. Had her over at other location when she first started.
Rusty and Cookie are the assistants now too so all new people since I last came.

My weekly adjustment but instead of cupping...I'm getting acupuncture this time. Osteoarthritis is no joke.
Bought some local honey and I've been buying this natural muscle/tension relaxer.

Haven't been all month...BIG MISTAKE.
When you have chronic back pain (arthritis) don't let it fool you when it doesn't hurt...it's the devil messing with you!! LOL!

Also, they have a new part timer, Dr Carter who only does acupuncture and cupping
They also have a new chiropractor, Dr Delgado who is taking Dr Chretien's place at their 2nd location...both are so sweet and down to earth.
Saw Dr Brechtel on the way out...we were chatting and before she left she grabbed some goodies they sell and gave them to me!! Score!

Got adjustments...and needles put in from ankles on up to mid back.
Oh man...had about 3 "ouch" spots but, no pain no gain.
Needles stayed in from 2:30- 2:50 with a10 minute stem movement of said needles.

The ONLY complaint I have is... they are ALWAYS LATE in seeing me at scheduled time.
I get to my appointment at least 5-10 minutes early and I wait in the lobby...well for example...I got here at 11:25 for my 11:30 time...it's 11:50
and I'm still waiting.

Once I get in the room I get the hot pad (10-15 minutes) and muscle relief (10 minutes) after that...I wait another 10-15 minutes for the doctor.
This happens EVERY time I come (this is my 7th visit)
Summary: arrived at 11:25a. Departed at 1:10
I LOVE this place a lot. I do. I just get frustrated waiting. It's a flaw of mine.
They offer soo much you can't beat it. And the 2 female chiropractors are excellent and so is the staff...friendly and informative.

Ok...the bruising is normal under the circumstances of my back issues. Pain has subsided a lot since massage and adjustments from Monday-Tuesday.
Today, I'm seeing a different chiropractor Dr Massare at other location...and she is doing acupuncture as well.
Appt time 3:15...I've gotten the tens unit applied for 10 minutes; I'm still waiting to see doctor; it's 4:07!!! She came in at 4:09 and started the adjustments and did the acupuncture. It's 5:09 and I'm tingling...I hope my chia will appreciate this!
I'm switching to Dr Massare and Dr Brechtel...I just like them better than Chretian at other location.

Saw Tiffany @1:30pm for a massage at other location...she worked on the areas of my lower back that are messed up and whew...hurt so good!
She's really good and thorough.
And, I'm glad my insurance BCBS that pays 80%!!!
It's 7:41p and I have a bruise on R hip...I'm starting to have doubts about ALL this stuff...chiropractic methods and massage therapy...my pain is a 10. Ugh! Not good.
Scared actually.
Seeing my PCP tomorrow...fingers crossed I get pain medication

I think they brought in the terminator to do my adjustments and muscle relief...used this big barbaric portable machine that pulverized my problem area...I think, I saw Jesus!!! LOL!

I got all kinds of stuff done today by Hannah aka Hannibal Lector (cuz she does this brutal muscle tension relief) that hurts like hell LOL! She does sports medicine.
Doc does the adjustments and activator.
I'm set to see them 2x a week for a month or so...hoping for the next because this spine of mine sucks.

Saw Dr Chretien for chronic lower back pain.
HealthMatters has 2 locations...6800 block of Stewart Rs and on 85th off Stewart Rd.
I went to 85th street for visit and the other location for X-ray.
Through my Insurance (BCBS) I'm going to take advantage of only paying 20% for a 1 hour massage (plus tip) to help with the chiropractic care.
Dr Brechtel did my X-ray; she also does nutritional counseling and supplements.
Looking forward to some much needed relief to my ole body!
They sell compression socks, teas, essential oils, vitamins, orthopedic pillows, etc.

He is very intuitive and knowledgeable about the body. His muscle release techniques are beyond helpful and his assistants (especially Lauren and Hannah) are AMAZING!! I suffered from pectoral, back, glute, and QL pain for months due to workout injuries, but since coming here I'm on the path to recovery. Now I know how important muscle care is in conjunction with adjustments. Thank you Health Matters Chiropractic!

She's not only a fabulous Chiropractor, but also very knowledgeable about Vitamins & Supplements. Thanks to her I also got my stomach issues under control when the Gastronenterol Doc didn't help. I hope she doesn't retire anytime soon

I signed up for both since COVID prevented me from going to gym and I have made a lot of improvement in range of motion and feeling fit. My trainer is Rusty and he is skilled at knowing the range and limits of my abilities and never taxes my but provides a through workout including a warm up and a brief massage at the end. Experience matters and he is the best. I also get a full body massage every few weeks. I plan to keep these sessions going forward even when the gym reopens!

Dr. Brechtel and Dr. Martin have helped with every ache and pain I've had since I've been coming there (which was in July '14). They've helped me with carpal tunnel syndrome, pinched nerves in my back, my scoliosis, and even hip pain. Every staff member is friendly and it's always a pleasant experience to go. They're accommodating to your schedule, and they take health insurance! They also provide massages there, and the best ones are Marlee and Natalie....actually their all good!!! If you have a "back problem" then this is THE place to go!
